Lloyd was saved by God's grace at the age of 23 from a church going background. He has been involved with church leadership and other ministries since the 1980's. He completed his M.Div. at ACTS seminary at Trinity Western in 1990. He taught in the public school system as a teacher-librarian for 28 years. He has been married, by God's grace, to Martha for 48 years and they have two grown daughters and four grandchildren. He enjoys reading theology, history and biographies. He has participated in biking in the past but now finds walking more suitable to his present situation. Also, he follows a variety of sports by watching the highlights. A key verse for Christian ministry is Col. 1:28,29.
