Road Closures

Please note the following road closures that affect traffic into James Bay for Sunday worship.

The annual Royal Victoria Marathon will restrict all traffic in and out of James Bay.

If you are driving south into downtown, you should have no trouble getting to church in time.  

Douglas St. and Blanshard St. will be closed at Yates Street from 8:00 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. But after 9:15 a.m. there should be no problem taking Douglas or Blanshard to get to James Bay.

After 9:15 a.m. it should be smooth sailing all the way to the Community Centre, where our church meets, following Blanshard St., for example, then,

• take a left onto Douglas St.,

• turn right on Toronto St., 

• turn left on Menzies, 

• turn right on Niagara to Oswego St. (we meet at 140 Oswego St)

There is usually parking in the small lot at the back of the school, on Simcoe Street.

We do not anticipate any problems that will keep you from getting to the worship service in time for 10:30 a.m.

But please leave yourself some extra driving time since roads might be congested after these intersections start opening.
